Laissez le bons temps rouler!
Let the good times Roll!

The Lompoc Theatre Project will be hosting a Mardi Gras Celebration on March 3rd at the Machado Barn, just East of Lompoc on Gypsy Canyon Road, beginning at 4:00pm with Bluegrass music and Happy Hour. The celebration is in support of Stacy Lowthorp, local owner of South Side Coffee Company, in her effort to win the title of “Lompoc Valley Star” in the upcoming  Dance Lompoc competition, for which she will be groovin' and movin' on behalf of the Lompoc Theatre Project.

The celebration will be full to bursting with the Mardi Gras joy and exuberance, with a New Orleans themed menu, catered by Anna Domingos, that will be served at 5:00pm with dancing, a raffle, a money dance and other fun activities to follow.

how does it work?

Each dollar raised and donated in Lowthorp’s name at the March 3rd  Mardi Gras Celebration and at the Dance Lompoc competition on March 10th will count as a vote ($1 = 1 Vote). One hundred percent of the money raised Stacy raises at both events will go towards the Theatre’s “Raise The Roof” campaign.

Where can I get tickets?

Tickets for the Mardi Gras Celebration are available in Lompoc at Inklings Printing Company, 403 North G Street, and at South Side Coffee Company, 105 South H Street, for $35.00 a ticket. If you are unable to attend the events but would like to cast your "vote", there will be opportunities to donate at South Side Coffee Company, on the Lompoc Theatre Project’s Facebook page, and the fundraising page at lompoctheatre.org (just mention it's in support of Stacy!).

What is Dance Lompoc?

The final competition takes place on March 10th, at the Lompoc Chamber of Commerce's 2nd Annual Dance Lompoc, a fundraising event set up similarly to the T.V. show, Dancing with the Stars. It will be held at the Anderson Parks & Recreation Center, where Lompoc residents are paired with professionals and perform a choreographed dance on behalf of their non-profit. Lowthorp, who is working with The Alley Project, will be competing against 5 other dance teams. Contact the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau for more information and tickets to see which team wins the title of Lompoc Valley Star!
