Dozens of artist of all levels reported to Lompoc's airport grounds over the weekend as part of the community's fifth annual chalk art event that drew hundreds of spectators celebrating the City of Arts and Flowers.
The weekend 'Lompoc Chalks' event featured live entertainment, youth activities, craft and informational booths, local vendors, food trucks — and plenty of vibrant chalk paintings.
Some expert-level artists visiting from up and down the state included Southern Californians Jennifer Ripassa and Lori Antoinette, Bay Area resident Clifton Gold and Los Angelino Delphine Anaya.
